Announcement :

Nau Mai, Haere Mai – Welcome to Botany Downs School!

EOTC

At Botany Downs School, we believe some of the most memorable learning experiences happen beyond the classroom. Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC), including trips, visits, and camps, provides students with valuable opportunities to connect their learning to real-life experiences while developing confidence, independence, teamwork, and social skills.

Our senior school camps are highlights of the year and provide exciting opportunities for students to challenge themselves, build relationships, and create lasting memories.

Year 5 – Willow Park
Each year, our Year 5 students attend camp at Willow Park. Through a range of outdoor and team-building activities, students are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, work collaboratively, and develop resilience and confidence while learning new skills.

Year 6 – Chosen Valley
Camp at Chosen Valley is a much-anticipated experience for our Year 6 students and a special highlight of their final year at Botany Downs School. Students take part in a variety of activities designed to build teamwork, leadership, independence, and problem-solving skills.

Prior to camp, an information evening is held for parents and caregivers to share important details about activities, travel, accommodation, food, and camp expectations.
