Newsletter – Week 3, Term 1 2025

                                         Week 3, Term 1, 2025

Tēnā koutou te whānau,

Our recent BDS Whānau Picnic was a wonderful celebration of fun and connection for our tamariki and whānau. Families gathered on the bank and under the trees, enjoying the opportunity to relax and spend time together.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our refurbished school pool and water slide, which provided endless fun and refreshing splashes—an absolute favourite among the children. The tug-of-war also brought plenty of laughter and friendly competition, adding to the excitement of the event.

It was fantastic to see our school community come together, meet staff, and strengthen relationships in such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in—we can’t wait for the next one.

 Ngā mihi nui,
Vicki Parkins, Principal – Tumuaki (vickip@botanydowns.school.nz)
