Update About School Closure

Kia ora koutou BDS Whānau

At this time our kura continues to remain closed until Tuesday 7 February however, we have received an update from Iona Holsted (Secretary for Education):

“I want to be clear that I will review the directive daily based on advice from NEMA and the roading situation, which means schools that were planning to open may be able to do so safely earlier than Tuesday 7 February if the situation improves and the roads are cleared earlier than currently projected.”

We do not have any more information than this at present but we will notify you the moment we find out if our kura can open before next week. Please continue to keep an eye on your emails and/or school app.

We have also been notified that sKids is unable to open this week.

We are not able to provide distance learning but you may choose to visit our website which provides numerous learning activities for our tamariki. Learning At Home
