Our BEST – Always

Term 3, Week 2 2021

Kia ora koutou,

We are pleased to be able to let our community know that we have had some very exciting progress with our school canopies this week.  We will continue to have their fencing in place until the completion of these canopies but they are now well under way. They are aiming for completion by the end of August.

Week 2 is time for our annual senior cross country for Years 4-6 on Tuesday, with our saving day on Wednesday.  This is being organised by Mr Joe D’Ambrosio. More detailed information has already been sent to you. We are still needing more volunteers so please contact Mr D’Ambrosio if you are able to help during this time between 1.00-2.45 pm. Should we need to postpone due to the weather, a decision will be made by 11am.

Our Girl’s Soccer Team is participating in their field day on Thursday with Mr Huskinson as their coach.  All the best for a fun, and successful day.

During week 2 I will be at the Principal’s Conference for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  This is a very valuable opportunity for Principals all over the country to meet and become informed of all the updates in education.

Congratulations to the following children who will be receiving their Special Terrific Person Award and Values Bookmarks at school assembly on Friday, starting at 9.10 am.  This week our item will be a play performed by Room 10 – we welcome you to attend.
